CPR Annual Meeting 2021 Guidelines for Attendees

  • You will be placed in a “waiting room” upon joining the meeting. We will admit all participants at the beginning of each session.

  • Attendees are encouraged to join via computer audio. By joining via a computer, you can easily view the meeting visual presentations and participate in the Q&A and chat function.

  • Everyone will be muted upon entry into the meeting room. We request you keep your microphone on mute unless (1) you are a panelist and it is time to appear on your panel; or (2) you are called on to speak during a Q&A; or (3) you enter a breakout room.  To speak, simply click on the Microphone icon to unmute (location of microphone depends on the type of device you are using). Please remember to mute your microphone when you are not speaking. This will help combat any excess noise or distractions.

  • Attendees will be able to view one another by clicking on the Start Video icon when they join.  The location for this button depends on the type of device you are using.  Once video is enabled, you can select from the following screen viewing options:

  • Gallery View: this option shows all participants on the screen (or screens for larger groups) all at once – Panelists will be on top

  • Speaker View: this option shows only the person speaking in full screen. In this view, your view bounces back and forth depending on who is speaking at the time.

  • We recommend keeping your screen view to Gallery View to better see as many of the other participants as possible.

  • Chat Feature - you can type questions and comments into the Chat window. The chat feature allows you to message the entire group or privately message another participant. Please take care when trying to send a private chat that you do not accidentally select “send to everyone”.  Please note that all chats (including private messages) are automatically saved.  You can like or comment on other attendee’s questions. This helps the host or participant identify popular questions.

  • Raise Hand Feature – If you wish to ask a question, click the Participants button and select Raise Hand. This informs the meeting organizer and other participants that you want to ask a question or make a comment without interrupting the conversation. The moderator will announce when it is your turn to speak – at which time you may unmute your microphone.

  • Enable Live Closed Captions – we will be providing the ability for you to see live transcription through closed captioning.  To have this feature, you can enable it in your settings

  • Participating in Breakout Rooms – At various times throughout our program we will enable the use of breakout rooms.  We believe these will provide deeper conversation about the panel topics as well as great networking and socializing opportunities.  We will provide further instructions for proceeding at the time of the events.  If you are unfamiliar with breakout rooms, you may want to learn about them here

  • Leaving the meeting and rejoining: Click Leave meeting to leave the event at any time. If you leave, you can rejoin anytime if the meeting is still in progress.

  • CLE – If you will be seeking CLE credit (NY and Texas), one or more codes unique to each of the 8 substantive panels on Thursday and Friday will be recited during those panels.  Please write down those codes and include them on the CLE request form provided to all registrants (i.e., the Box link with the course material) and return the request form to CPR as provided within 10 days after the completion of this program.  Upon receipt of this form, CPR will send you an invoice of $75 as a processing fee with detailed payment instructions.  Once paid, we will issue a Certificate of Attendance for this program.

  • Feedback – Please provide your feedback and submit your evaluation forms each night or after the last day of the meeting!

  • Recordings: All presentations (keynotes and sessions) will be recorded and made available for replay to CPR Members.

Please note that:

By your attendance to this event, you agree that CPR (or its designee) has the right to control, authorize or prohibit the distribution of any photography, videotaping, or recordings of any kind, at this event and may use such materials for its advertising or otherwise in the form and media as it deems appropriate, including but not limited to, in publications, social media, marketing materials, on websites and other platforms.
