How do I log onto the online meeting?

You must first register for the Annual Meeting.  Upon registration, you will receive confirmation with the Zoom log in information.  This meeting link is unique to you.  Please do not share as you will then be unable to log in.  If you have technical difficulties during the meeting, please refer to the meeting guidelines for a link to our Zoom help desk or contact annualmeeting@cpradr.org.

Do I need to sign up for individual sessions or workshops after I register for the conference?

No, once an individual registers for the conference, they will have access to all the live conference sessions and recordings.

Do I have to be a member of CPR Institute to register?

Accepted Answer

Registration for the Annual Meeting is open to the public.  CPR Institute members, however, receive a 33% discount on the registration fee and have access to the on-demand library of videos and materials generated from this meeting while they are current members. Will conference sessions be recorded?

All sessions except the individual workshops will be recorded.  On-demand replays of recorded sessions will be available to CPR members only.

Will there be engagement and networking sessions?

Yes, the Annual Meeting will include ample social and networking opportunities throughout the three days.  Details will be added as they are confirmed to the Agenda.

Is there a dress code for the Meeting sessions?

While this is a professional meeting, business casual is acceptable. Please use your discretion for virtual participation.

The virtual meeting is held in Zoom but I do not have a Zoom account.  Can I still participate?

Yes – you can still participate without a paid Zoom account.  But you will need to register for a free zoom account – which you can do here: Sign Up - Zoom

When do I receive the link to log in to the Annual Meeting?

You must register for the meeting in advance.  Upon completing registration, you will receive the log in information for the entire meeting.

I have the link in my registration confirmation, but it does not work.  What should I do?

The entire virtual meeting and networking breakouts will be held on Zoom.  Make sure you have the latest version of the software or app downloaded for the best user experience and are signing in as you.  Download Center - Zoom Next, make sure you are logged in to your Zoom account.  Second, is your internet reliable? VPNs may interrupt your connectivity to video content. Third, make sure you turn on your speakers. Fourth, make sure you have not shared your personal Zoom link as that is unique to you and will prevent you from attending. Is this meeting eligible for CLE credits?

Yes, for certain jurisdictions. ​The CPR Institute has been certified by the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board as an Accredited Provider of continuing legal education in the State of New York. CPR is a non-profit organization. Under financial hardship guidelines, at its discretion, CPR may waive the fee for attorneys who demonstrate that they are not currently employed (not retirees). CPR may also provide a special discounted price to attorneys, full-time judges and administrative law judges practicing in the non-profit and public sectors full time. Please check back here or review instructions in meeting materials provided before and during the meeting.  For Attendees from other jurisdictions, CPR can provide a general certificate of attendance upon request. For this process, please follow the standard procedure and indicate that you request a general certificate of attendance.

How do I claim CLE credit?

To claim CLE credit, you will need to show proof of viewing the CLE-eligible sessions.  Such proof will be codes given out during the session.  You must listen for these codes as they will not be posted in the chat.  You will then need to fill out the CLE request form and the session evaluation form for each session attended in addition to the overall meeting evaluation and submit both forms to Kai Sass-Hauschildt at ksasshauschildt@cpradr.org.  Please send the forms no later than March 14, 2022.

Where can I obtain CLE request and evaluation forms?

CPR will send an email to each registrant several days before the Annual Meeting starts with a link to the DropBox of materials for the Meeting. This will include CLE materials, the Annual Meeting Coursebook and other resources.  Please contact ksasshauschildt@cpradr.org with any questions regarding CLE credit in connection with this program.

Can I get CLE credit by watching the sessions on demand after the live meeting?

No, CPR is not currently accredited to give CLE credit for on-demand learning.
